The local rehoming centre has sent out an urgent plea to residents to consider rehoming a homeless feline.
Truffle is an 11-year-old tabby girl who is suitable into any home without other pets.
Families with children would be most suited to Arabella, the toirtoiseshell female aged nine and half years old.
Finally, Minou, who is a senior cat aged 14, prefers a quiet and relaxing environment to live in.
Lynne Pothecary, publicity officer, said: "Just like humans, cats are individuals with different quirks and personalities and we have cats which would suit all sorts of people.
“You can never predict which cat a prospective owner will bond with – sometimes people go for cats with similar personalities to their own, other times is definitely a case of ‘opposites attract’.

"Either way, there is no denying that cats make fantastic pets. They are loyal, friendly, funny and loving – so what better time of year to pick a new best friend than around Valentine’s Day?”
