A PUBLIC consultation will soon be held on plans to build 133 new homes in Sonning Common.

The proposals for a new retirement community by Inspired Villages were put forward earlier this month.

If given approval, the village will be built on land at Little Sparrows, off the Blounts Court Road, opposite Johnson Matthey.

Residents are encouraged to comment on the application via South Oxfordshire District Council's (SODC’s) website up until Thursday, February 13.

Sonning Common Parish Council's Planning Committee will meet in the Village Hall on Monday, February 3 at 7.30pm to discuss Inspired Village's planning application.

Representatives from Inspired Villages will attend this public meeting to outline the plans in more detail and to answer questions about them.

Residents who live in the vicinity of Churchill Crescent/Blounts Court Road are particularly encouraged to attend the meeting.
