HUNDREDS of homes were left without power this evening after a number of power cuts.
Homes reported no power in various areas stretching across both Reading and Bracknell.
Scottish and Southern Electric reported a huge 66 postcodes we affected.
This covered homes in RG31 covering West Reading, Calcot, and Theale, as well as homes in RG40 covering Wokingham, Bracknell, and Crowthorne.
For homes in the RG31 area the power was reportedly lost shortly before 6pm, with engineers restored by 9pm.
In the RG40 areas, power was lost shortly before 5pm and back about 8pm.
