The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Court:

November 14:

JIMMY BRAZIL, 27, of Hearsey Gardens, Blackwater, admitted stealing two sandwich wraps worth £6.25 from Waitrose in Wokingham. Also admitted common assault in Wokingham, on April 23, 2019, and admitted causing racially-aggravated police harassment, alarm or distress in Wokingham on November 12, 2018. Fined £334 total and ordered to pay £206.25 total compensation. Also ordered to pay £32 surcharge.

November 15:

DANIEL KING, 21, of Mitre Place, Warfield, admitted drug-driving on Marbull Way on March 28, 2019. Found to have 670mcg of cocaine per litre of blood. Also admitted drug driving on Marbull Way on March 28, 2019, and found to have 6mcg of cannabis per litre of blood. Also admitted possession of cannabis on March 28, 2019, and admitted driving without insurance on Marbull Way on March 28, 2019. Also admitted driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence on Marbull Way, on March 28, 2019. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Fined £160 total. Also ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

ABIGAIL MORRISON, 19, of Glebe Gardens, Sonning, admitted using a train without having paid for a ticket at Twyford Station, Twyford, Wokingham, on June 21, 2018. Fined £40. Ordered to pay £100 costs.

PATRICK KELLY, 64, of Old Wokingham Road, Wokingham, admitted possession of 11.6 grams of cannabis in Bracknell on August 11, 2017. Also admitted possession of 1.17 grams of cocaine in Bracknell on August 11, 2017. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Drugs forfeited and destroyed by police.

November 19:

MIROSLAW KUBAT, 42, of Phillips Close, Wokingham, admitted drink-driving on Rushey Way, on October 18, 2019. Found to have 97mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg. Community order made, ordering 180 hours of unpaid work to be completed. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Also disqualified from driving for 48 months.

LUKE STAMPFER, 25, of Patten Ash Drive, Wokingham, was convicted of criminal damage to property under £5,000 on a Thames Valley Community Rehabilitation Company bus in Reading, Berkshire, on October 28, 2018. Fined £450. Also ordered to pay £388.52 compensation. Also ordered to pay £45 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £620 court costs.

SAEED ANWAR, 54, of Wokingham Road, Reading, was convicted of assault by beating on Old Bath Road, Calcot, on August 23, 2019. Discharged conditionally for 2 years. Restraining order issued. Ordered to pay a £21 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £400 court costs.

STEVEN NORTON, 33, of Merryhill Road, Bracknell, admitted theft of perfume worth £278.50 from Fenwick Ltd, Bracknell, on November 18, 2019. Also admitted theft of perfume worth £74 from Fenwick Ltd, Bracknell, on November 13, 2019. Also admitted theft of perfume worth £203 from Fenwick Ltd, Bracknell, on November 12, 2019. Also admitted theft of meat worth £25 from a BP garage, Bagshot Road, Bracknell, on November 15, 2019. Committed to prison for 20 weeks, due to offence so serious because persistent offender. Ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge.
