CREATIVE little chefs made gingerbread men as part of a cooking programme.
Children at Bright Horizons Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool recently made gingerbread men in a Creative Cooks challenge.

The programme aims to bring something different for the children, where they learn new skills such as cooking, timekeeping and planning.
Laura Gardner, deputy nursery manager, said: "It was a great sensory activity for the children. “We used the scales to measure out ingredients, our fingers to mix the dough and had fun smelling the cinnamon and ginger.”

The Creative Cooks programme is just one of many enrichment activities that the nursery gets involved with in order to broaden children's learning.
