An announcement was made on Facebook last week where the restaurant is looking to hire chefs, managers, waiters and bartenders.

The Tapas restaurant is expected to open early February but it isn't known what it will be called.

Lorraine who is a resident in Ascot, said: "About time, always thought it would be so nice to have a tapas bar or sushi in Ascot, such an influential area with not much choice of restaurants."

Another local said: "Love tapas and there isn’t a decent one for miles around."
