BRACKNELL'S longest-running film society is marking 60 years of cinema by hosting two days of screenings.

The momentous occasion for Bracknell Film Society will see six specially-selected films and short films being shown at South Hill Park Arts Centre from January 25 to 26.

The films have been chosen from over 1,100 titles shown from the past six decades, including a brand new never before seen film.

Film-goers can enjoy comedy with M. Hulot's Holiday and The Odd Couple to thrillers such as Lift to the Scaffold and Man of Aran.

Special guests who helped produce the films is University of Reading and The London Film Academy, Professor Ian Banks of Bucks New University in High Wycombe and more.
