This means Bracknell Forest Council (BFC) could have two fewer councillors in the future – reducing the total number from 42 to 40.

Professor Colin Mellors, chairman of the commission, said: “If you have a view about which communities or neighbourhoods should be part of the same council ward, then we want to hear from you.

“And if you think a road, river or railway makes for a strong boundary between communities in your part of Bracknell Forest, then this consultation is for you.”

The new boundaries will come into force at the 2023 council elections.
