The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

October 2:

NOEL GREANEY, 36, of Moulsford Mews, Reading, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Friar Street, Reading, on September 14. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

RICHARD KIRKHAM, 57, of Grenadier Gardens, Thatcham, admitted drink-driving in Newbury on September 13. Found to have 50mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

PRISCILLA TWUMAA, 25, of Shinfield Road, Reading, admitted fraud by false representation after using a bank card belonging to someone else in Primark for costs of £8 on June 3 . Also admitted using a bank card which was not hers to buy £27.04 worth of items from H&M on June 3. Admitted handling stolen goods in Reading on June 3. Given a conditional discharge for 24 months and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs.

October 3:

LEWIS MANN, 27, of no fixed abode, admitted criminal damage to a bathroom door to the value of £221.44 in Calcot. Ordered to pay £221.44 compensation.

KAY PARKER, 54, of Sweet Briar Drive, Calcot, admitted assault by beating in Reading on May 11. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs.

MICHAEL RICHARDS, 33, of Addington Road, Reading, admitted drug-driving in Copenhagen Close, Whitley, on May 19. Fined £350 and ordered to pay £35 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

LEE SAUNTSON, 42, of Oxford Road, Reading, admitted persistently begging in public, namely Chain Street, Reading, on August 23. Also admitted failing to comply with a community protection notice by being in Chain Street on the same date. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge.

PAWEL STASKIEWICZ, 34, of Padworth Avenue, Reading, admitted driving while disqualified in Gillette Way, Reading, on August 2. Also admitted using a vehicle in Gillette Way on the same date without the correct insurance. Sentenced to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

ADRIAN ALLEYNE, 39, of Lilac Walk, Calcot, admitted using threatening, abusive, or insulting behaviour with intent to provoke violence in Calcot on March 9. Also admitted being in possession of an offensive weapon, namely a baseball bat, in Calcot on March 9. Given a conditional discharge for three years and ordered to pay £250 compensation. Must also pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

KARL MANNING, 34, of Salvation Army, Reading, admitted stealing £37 worth of alcohol from Marks and Spencer in Wokingham on September 11. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £40 court costs.
