New troop shelter at the Royal Military Academy (19/01062/FUL)

A planning statement for this application reveals new troop shelter areas are being proposed at defence training areas throughout the country after a “fatality” at one of them.

This means defence specialists want to add a new troop shelter next to the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, near to the Barossa Firing Range.

Another week, another garage conversion plan submitted in Bracknell Forest.

This one sees an application for a new single-storey extension to the back of a home on Blackmoor Wood in Ascot.

The adjoining garage could be converted into a new living space, too.
