A PERSON has been hit by a train between London Paddington and Maidenhead.
Great Western Railway (GWR) services between London and Reading are being affected, with delays expected until 4.30pm.

GWR posted a Tweet confirming the incident just after 2pm today (Thursday, December 12).
⚠️ A person has been hit by a train between London Paddington and Maidenhead and all lines between the two stations are currently blocked.

The Tweet said: "A person has been hit by a train between London Paddington and Maidenhead and all lines between the two stations are currently blocked."
National Rail confirmed that emergency services were dealing with an incident between on the line, and that consequently, trains between London Paddington and Reading may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
The company are advising customers to use the following alternative lines: South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Reading; CrossCountry between Reading and Banbury or Chiltern Railways between Banbury and London Marylebone.
