HUNDREDS of teachers and schoolboys wore Santa hats in a bid to raise money for a very worthy cause.
Papplewick School in Ascot took part in a Santa Fun Run around Ascot Racecourse on December 2 to raise money for Crowthorne charity, Sebastian's Action Trust.

Schoolboys in year two, three and four prepared for the frosty morning and ran the full circuit raising more than £550.
Tom Bunbury, headteacher, said: "The boys were proud to be able to be able to have the opportunity to run for this wonderful charity, and reflect on the brave children and their families whom Sebastian's Action Trust support."

The aim of the fundraiser was for £5 to be donated per child to run in the race.
Sebastian's Action Trust has been supported by the school to help in their efforts in providing a respite facility to seriously-ill children and their families.
