Yvonne Rance, owner, said: "I am speechless and devastated this has happened.

"They [vandals] have smashed in the whole lot so it is a security problem and I have had to make sure the children are safe.

"Money is short as it is for a pre-school and it is an expense we never wanted, especially as we fundraised for a whole year to get a playground."

Bracknell News:

The playground has had its roof smashed, the wood structure and surface.

Mrs Rance explained how the pre-school had to fundraise more than £2,000 to get a playground for the children.

It was finally built in April and is used as a learning environment for 2-3 year-old's at the pre-school.

She said: "I took over the school 12 years ago and never has something like this happened.

"The parents have been so good to us but said they were disgusted by what has happened. I just do not know why someone would do such a thing."

The pre-school has reported the incident to Thames Valley Police and said they are looking into the incident.
