A MAN has been charged after trying to run from police officers who witnessed a suspected drug deal.
Dory Herbert, of no fixed abode, was charged with drug offences, possession of a knife and obstructing a police constable in Reading.
It comes after officers witnessed a suspected drug deal in Morpeth Close, Reading, on Wednesday, December 4.

The force said the suspect ran off when challenged by officers.
After being detained by officers he was found to be in possession of drugs and a knife.
Mr Herbert has since been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession of a knife in a public place and obstructing a police constable.
He appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 5, but did not enter a plea.
He is expected to next appear at Reading Crown Court on January 6, 2020.
