A 'TIRED' looking school playground has been completely transformed to suit the needs of the children and create a happier space.
Binfield C of E Primary School officially unveiled their new outdoor reception area on November 29 with attendance of the Mayor, Councillor Pauline McKenzie.

Children, staff, governors, parents and council officials gathered to watch the ribbon being cut to unveil the 'rejuvenated' space.
The project was funded through the school by selling their popular home cooked meals to another school.
The Parent Teacher Association also raised funds to buy additional play equipment and resources.
Children will now be able to play on their new 'amazing' Astro Turf and wet play area while enjoying a relaxing water wall, sandpit, scooter track and performance area.

Mrs Suzie Featherstone-Wright, headteacher, said: βIt has taken the collaboration of staff, governors and parents to make this project happen.
"We are delighted with the result and are thrilled to be able to provide this fabulous learning environment for the children.β
The Mayor and her consort stayed for the morning for a guided tour of the school by year six pupils Ryan and Rebecca.
