Children, staff, governors, parents and council officials gathered to watch the ribbon being cut to unveil the 'rejuvenated' space.

The project was funded through the school by selling their popular home cooked meals to another school.

The Parent Teacher Association also raised funds to buy additional play equipment and resources.

Children will now be able to play on their new 'amazing' Astro Turf and wet play area while enjoying a relaxing water wall, sandpit, scooter track and performance area.
