In the clubs drive to reduce single use plastic, plastic coffee cups, snack containers and wet swimming kit bags have been eliminated.
Lewis Banks, catering manager at the club, said: "So I took it upon myself as I am aware of the impact that it has.
"The worlds waste has to go somewhere and it gets swept up on someone else's doorstep so it isn't fair. "The action we have taken will affect our future and it is up to us to make sure it is the best that it can be."
The health and fitness club has also curbed its reduction in plastic with plastic free coffee cups, plastic straws and has installed spin dryers to dry swimming costumes instead of plastic wet kit bags.

Tea bags have also been replaced and are now made with a corn alternative.
David Briggs, member at Crowthorne Reduce our Waste, said: "The club is one of eight businesses in Crowthorne which have achieved plastic free status, which in turn means Crowthorne has achieved plastic free community status."
