PUPILS remembered the fallen war heroes by laying down poppy wreaths yesterday for Remembrance Day (November 11).
Whitegrove Pre-School in Warfield held a mini remembrance service by making poppies and placing them at the large ceramic poppy site on the roundabout.

Communities across Bracknell commemorated the fallen with remembrance services.
Kirsty Rennie, manager at Whitegrove, said: "I am happy to say that the children embraced this year’s remembrance activities and learning all about our current serving soldiers as well as the ones who went to war.
"The children laid their wreath as a mark of respect which we now hope will be a Whitegrove Pre-School tradition."
Armistice Day commemorates those who contributed to the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.

A Remembrance Ceremony took place in Princess Square at The Lexicon with thousands coming to pay their respects and lay poppy wreaths.
