FROM fireworks, Toy Story and the first day of the Jumps Season, Ascot Racecourse hosted a spectacular Bonfire Night display which went down a treat.

The event on November 2 was billed as 'one of the biggest and best shows in Berkshire' with doors opening to 20,000 people.

Families got to enjoy a mix of entertainment, with free fairground rides, pop-up laser tag and a variety of hot food.

The day also included dodgems, a climbing wall and a pop cinema in The Pavilion showing Toy Story alongside themed food and a pop-up bar.

Kids had fun getting their face-painted, play with slime and cuddle the Greencoat Bear.

As well as this, the day appealed to rugby fans with the racecourse opening at 8.30am to show the Rugby World Cup Final.

Racegoers watched England take on South Africa on an indoor screen with warm bacon rolls, tea and coffee.

The fireworks spectacular started at 6pm with colourful and bright displays in full view from the grandstand.
