AN independent store selling women's fashion and gifts will be opening in Peach Place.

MiMi's, which has a store in Hartley Witney, will be joining other recent shops at the newly developed shopping site.

The businesses will snap up one of the last units at Peach Place to join quirky shops such as Neon Sheep, Oliver Bonas and more.

Resident's will expect to find something unique and individual when shopping at MiMi's, says Wokingham councillors.

Cllr Charlotte Haitham Taylor, executive member for regeneration, said: "I am very excited to see MiMi's come to Peach Place.

"They are just the type of indepedent business that we think will do very well in Wokingham, offering a lovely range of clothing, homeware and gifts - all picked out with an eye for style and something just that little more unique."

MiMi's has had good reviews from the village of Harley Witney, hoping to bring a positive reaction in Wokingham.

Cllr Taylor added: "We are incredibly pleased with how successful Peach Place has been and how it continues to attract such a great range of national names and indepedent boutiques to the town.

"Anyone coming into Wokingham at the moment can see a huge difference in the town centre with lots of new shops and things to do."
