POLICE have warned Caversham residents to keep their homes safe after two burglaries took place in the neighbourhood in the past week.
A Thames Valley Alert explained that between Thursday September 5 and Friday September 6 between 23.55pm and 6.00am in Woods Road, an unknown offender gained entry via an insecure side door and stole a vehicle (reference: 43190275195).
Another burglary was carried out on Sunday September 7 at around 5am in Knights Way (43190278966.)
An unknown offender gained entry, possibly via a letterbox on the front door and stole keys, coats, a laptop and rucksack.
Police have taken to Twitter to warn residents how to keep their homes safe.

They also told people to report any suspicious incidents, sightings or any information to The Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101 and to check CCTV cameras, Ringcam or Dashcam.
