HUNDREDS of families enjoyed entertainment, music and food to celebrate the last day of summer (August 31).
Arborfield Green Crest Nicholson development in Wokingham hosting their 'end of summer' event for families to enjoy.
Locals enjoyed Pimms and Siren Craft beer, with lots of food options and musical guests.
Vocalists Abi Powell and Jack Reynolds took to the stage with his guitar, impressing guests with their talent.
Sammie Bryans, development director for Crest Nicholson said: βIt was great to see so many families on the green for our end of summer fete. Lots of our community groups showed up to support, including all three incident support vehicles from Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue! Our musical acts were a great way of bringing the community together and our Events Committee did a great job of putting on a celebration of the Arborfield Green community.β
As well as this, Aaron Bond who is a resident at the Nightingale Fields development kicked off his music with his band Dacoda, followed by a all-female choir The Barberettes.
Paul Wilson also showcased his talent with soulful tunes.
The day marked a good opportunity for residents to get to know one another and come together as a community.
