RESIDENTS will get to enjoy a variety of cocktails and live entertainment at a garden party organised by a retirement development in Crowthorne.

The party will take place at McCarthy and Stone's Birch Place Retirement Living Plus site on Friday, July 19 where guests can enjoy food and jazz performances by MPR Jazz.

Members of the team and homeowners are invited to the landscaped gardens of the retirement village on Dukes Ride to find out about the housebuilders development.

Julie Ward, national sales director for McCarthy and Stone, said: "We are looking forward to opening up our gardens at Birch Place to the people of Crowthorne on Friday, July 19 for a barbecue and for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of cocktails and live jazz music.

"We hope the garden party will provide an opportunity for homeowners to socialise, while guests will be able to explore Birch Place and find out more about what life is like at the development."

Birch Place offers pensioners age-exclusive accommodation and the village has an award-winning club lounge and bistro restaurant, ideal for socialising with friends and a guest suite for relatives to stay.

The event starts at 12pm to 3pm.
