Firefighteres came to the rescue when a horse was trapped in a ditch at Littleworth Common in Farnham Common on Saturday evening.
The rider had fallen after the horse stumbled and although she was uninjured the mare was unable to get up again.
Slough firefighters led by group manager Seth Juby used straps to get the horse on her feet again while a vet stood by.
They were there an hour and the horse was safely put back on her feet.
