BRACKNELL and Wokingham College will be holding a summer open event to allow school leavers to discuss their options.
Active Learning will be showcasing their range of programmes during the Summer Open Event at the college in Bracknell on Saturday June, 15.
During the open events residents will have the chance to meet current students to learn more about college life, have a tour of the professional hair salon, try their hand at film editing and create a piece of art on lino.
18-year-old Tommy Docherty from Wokingham is currently studying for a Photography BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma.
He said: “The technology we use now is very, very modern. The computers are very good, they’ve got all the latest apps. The actual area itself is very free, it’s very open.
“Compared to school there’s so much more freedom, even if it’s a little thing like wearing your own clothes. It makes you definitely express yourself a lot more than if you’re at school.”
Staff will be available to discuss options and plan out a learning pathway for each pupil.
