ART enthusiasts will get to enjoy unique artwork being displayed at an exhibition aiming to raise money for a very worthy cause.

Gracewell of Ascot care home will be opening its doors to the local community on May 25 from 10 to 4pm, with a variety of local artwork on display.

A volunteer from Windsor Arts Collective met with the care home residents to inspire them to paint and use their imaginations.

The Windsor Arts Collective hosts a group of innovative contemporary artists who teach a diverse range of styles and techniques with art.

Jane Pilcher who is a volunteer has been visiting Gracewell once a week - on the lead up to the exhibition, helping residents create their own unique pieces of art.

The care home has also got a permanent art station set up so residents can continue their hobbies whenever they feel like it.

Guests will get to enjoy a host of live music from a local flautist and light refreshments will be provided throughout the afternoon.

Raffle tickets can also be purchased to raise money for Thames Hospice who provide care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
