A CHARITY that runs a day centre for the elderly in Crowthorne has received a generous donation from a theatrical society during an awards evening.
COATS for Crowthorne Seniors received the donation from the Crowthorne Amateur Theatrical Society (CATS).
Angie Chitty, the CATS chairwoman, told the gathering that the society has put on many successful productions and is pleased to give the saved money to local organisations.
The society also made donations to The Crowthorne Community minibus service, Edgebarrow schools drama department and ‘Our Harry’s Smile’ a charity raising funds to support Harry Rampton, who was born with a rare chromosomal abnormality.
