THOUSANDS of eager residents laced up their running shoes to take part in the fourth annual Binfield 10k road race on Sunday.
Runners took part in the 10k route, taking them through Binfield's roads and countrysides before making it back to Foxley Fields.
The event was organised by a committee of hard-working volunteers, aiming to raise money for local charities and providing an event for locals to enjoy and get involved with.
Organised by a committee of volunteers its main objective is to raise funds for local charities, whilst at the same time providing a village community event which everyone can enjoy and get involved with in some way.
Funds raised from the 10k have supported Binfield Primary School and many other local charity groups, including brownies, cubs, scouts and guides and the local church.
