We are set to bask in glorious sunny weather during the bank holiday weekend.

The Met Office forecast suggests the south east will see highs of 20 and above until next Wednesday - meaning temperatures will be warmer than much of Spain and Greece.

In its regional forecast for the South East, the organisation predicted 'another dry and bright day with plenty of sunshine' tomorrow.

The Met Office said we could see record-breaking temperatures for this time of year.

It continued: "After a fairly cool start in places, feeling very warm inland by the afternoon.

"Isolated early morning fog patches (for Saturday to Monday), but otherwise a dry, mostly sunny and increasingly warm or very warm Easter weekend.

"The fine weather will continue for many on Tuesday, with plenty of warm sunshine."

21 degrees is forecast today and tomorrow, with Monday and Tuesday hitting 20 and Wednesday 19.
