An Amersham nursery school is celebrating being given outstanding status for the second OFSTED inspection in a row.
Following the inspection on March 22, Lindfield Pre-School Nursery was praised for it’s ‘effective leadership, the personal development of the children in the nursery and the quality of the teaching’.
The report also said that children at the school who had special educational needs are ‘superbly supported’.
Debbie Saunders, supervisor of the nursery, said “We are thrilled to have retained our outstanding status as it recognises that we have continued to improve since our last inspection and is a reflection of all our hard work.”
The Nursery was originally founded in 1977 and is currently based at the Chiltern Youth Centre on Chiltern Avenue in Amersham but are aiming to be part of the proposed Life Centre community facility in the future.
