EASTER is on the way, and with it comes two precious bank holidays.

The bank holiday weekend is also a busy one, with thousands of people making a trolley dash to pick up ingredients for a roast dinner.

There will also be a last-minute rush for Easter eggs, hot cross buns and booze for the less well organised amongst us.

This year Good Friday falls on April 19 and Easter Monday bank holiday on April 22.

But don't get caught out by shop closures this Easter.

Most major chains are closed on Easter Sunday, and many have shorter opening hours over the bank holiday weekend.
