A PEAT-FREE compost has been made from recycled garden waste sourced in Bracknell, Reading and Wokingham.
The compost re3grow is made from at least 90 per cent of the garden waste from the three boroughs.
Re3grow is produced from material collected from the kerbside or deposited at recycling centres and then delivered to a local composting facility.
The compost is going back on sale following a successful launch last year.
Spokesmen from the Bracknell Forest Council, Wokingham Council and Reading Council, said: “Signs of spring are appearing, and we are inviting keen gardeners across Bracknell Forest, Reading and Wokingham Boroughs to purchase re3grow compost.
“We are thrilled that re3grow compost is back on sale and hoping that it will be equally popular as last year.
“We’re very grateful for all positive feedback received last year and hope that re3grow will help residents to fully appreciate the recycling process by turning what would have been waste into a valuable resource whilst helping to divert waste from landfill.”
The compost can be purchased from Longshot Lane, Bracknell and Smallmead, Reading recycling centres.
