THE BRACKNELL Forest community map has been highlighted as a resource to help combat loneliness in the borough.
The Bracknell community map was designed to bring residents together with local groups to help prevent them feeling lonely and isolated.
The online map shows residents community groups, clubs, societies, events and activities that are in their local area.
Councillor Dale Birch, executive member for adult services, health and housing, said: “We’re delighted that our community map, part of our Warm Welcome programme, has been recognised as a resource to help combat loneliness for our residents in Bracknell Forest."
“By tackling social isolation and loneliness in Bracknell Forest we can bring our communities together, and through our Social Prescription Programme, reach those who want to improve their health and wellbeing by helping them connect to the local support they need.”
