NEW play area facilities in Bracknell have been opened with the help of local nursery children.
Children from a local Busy Bees Nursery gathered on Friday, 18 January to open and try out the new equipment at the Harvest Hill play park in Warfield.
The new facilities include swings, springers and a new multi-unit, which were opened by the help of the children, Harvest Ride Councillors, council parks and countryside rangers.
Councillor Iain McCracken, executive member for culture, delivery and public protection, said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to provide these new facilities, which I hope can be enjoyed by many more children and young families for years to come.”
The Bracknell Forest Council invested £70,000 to re-design the play area with equipment to cater for a wide range of children.
