A BRAND-new gin bar is set open in a few months time as part of Wokingham's Peach Place development.

The Leafy Elephant is set to move into Wokingham's new Elms Field development, as part of the towns regeneration project.

Serving up a range of gins and cocktails, the bar will be home to the towns second cocktail and music bar The Redan, based at 24 Peach Street.

Stephen Scott, owner of the The Leafy Elephant said: "The major development and investment by the Council presented a unique opportunity to deliver to Wokingham a high quality establishment providing a venue for working professionals to socialise while being treated to an exceptional level of service and knowledge with an extremely popular drinks proposition.

Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy LLP has advised the owners of the new gin bar on negotiating a lease and addressing complex documentation's ahead of the opening in Spring.
