AN ELDERLY couple were threatened with a knife by masked raiders who made off with valuable items.

Three men entered a property at Broomfield Park, Sunningdale, before stealing jewellery, handbags and an unknown quantity of cash.

The incident happened at around 9.15pm on October 31, when the trio entered through the back door before making demands.

It was at this point the that the victims, a man and a woman in their 60s, were threatened with a knife.

Investigating officers have asked anyone who saw suspicious vehicles in the area at the time to get in touch.

The three offenders, who all wore dark clothing, searched the home and stole various items before making their getaway.

Neither of the victims were injured during the robbery and police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the men.

Detective constable Greig Williams, of Force CID at Maidenhead station, said: “This was a frightening experience for the victims and they are being supported.

“We are currently investigating this incident and would encourage anyone who has information to get in touch.

“We are particularly keen to speak with anyone who may have seen these three men or any suspicious vehicles on Broomfield Park between 9pm and 10pm on Wednesday (31/10).

“If you have any information about the incident please get in touch with police.”
