Visitors to Maidenhead would definitely have described the town as 'horrible' on Saturday.
Evil looking zombies roamed the town for the sixth year running - taking in the High Street and Nicholsons Shopping Centre, before heading for the pub.
In fact the hundreds of 'undead' people had started the afternoon in the Maiden's Head pub getting their scary make-up applied.
The walk raised £400 for the Kevin Cruise Foundation, formerly the Royal Borough Theatre Project.
The foundation provides disadvantaged children with behind-the-scenes and on stage experiences.
It offers theatre tickets, workshops and education to children with deprived backgrounds.
A flash mob performance by Dance Inspired, based in Altwood Road, also featured and entertainment from Mark’s Magic Mayhem provided entertainment after the walk.
Organiser Carly Kenny thanked the make-up artists who had given their time to transform the walkers into the scary creatuires they became.
