PEOPLE with Afro-Caribbean hair in Bracknell can now have their locks tamed thanks to the opening of a dedicated new salon.
Hair and Beauty Palace, which opened in Market Street on Saturday, May 12, caters purely for Afro-Caribbean and mixed race hair.
Owner Ola Babalola said she opened the salon the need from the local community.
She said: "Afro-Caribbean and mixed race hair is notoriously difficult to style and take care of. I am surprised there hasn't been a dedicated salon in Bracknell before but it is nice to be the first.
"We have mothers with mixed race children who just don't know what to do with their hair, so they can bring them in and we can teach them how to look after it."
