CREWS from Ascot and Bracknell fire stations were called to a flat fire in on Sunday afternoon.
At 1.05pm, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) received a report of a flat in a fire at Matthews Court, Ascot.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire in the kitchen, which took just over an hour to bring under control.
