Since I arrived and began working this patch some 23 years ago this has always been one of my favourite locations. I know it`s different for everyone but if you like the rural feel yet still want so much on your doorstep this really is the one for you. Now to the home itself, I love it!

With this in mind I`ll begin with the excellent size study which is large enough to be much more if you require but a truly impressive work room is its current use. Beyond here you have a flexible ground floor bedroom five with en suite bathroom and built in storage. A great room for teenagers that come in at an ungodly hour, or for guests and family staying over giving them their own level of privacy.

The main sitting room is a lovely size with double doors going in on the angle, very clever. When these rooms get to over 13 feet in width I just think they transform themselves and offer so many more options to furnish yet they can still have a snug and cosy feel as the colder seasons approach. The open fire does exactly that and is a great feature. The large glazed doors allow light to flood in and give views and access to the private courtyard, a great space for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.Moving through to the rear of this home is where things really truly open up. The space is wonderful, impressive enough for the kitchen to appear in a magazine showing how you create an ‘American style open-plan family-friendly space for cooking eating and relaxing’. This space is angular but it works, it creates points of interest rather than just being a soulless huge `space`. Moving upstairs I’ll keep things simple but again have to say the feeling of space is immense. The landing area sets the scene well and the rooms are all FANTASTIC double rooms and more!

Right, time for a wander outside. The frontage we have touched on already but it really does suit the setting, from the fencing choice, rustic post and rail, down to the planting, it’s in keeping but then you do also have a well maintained, large block paved driveway giving plenty of parking.
