Where do I go? Brynjar Gunnarsson is seeking a move in January, according to his agent.
READING'S Brynjar Gunnarsson is looking for a move in January, according to his agent.
The 34-year-old midfielder has made only seven Championship starts under Brendan Rodgers this season.
Now the Iceland international could be looking to secure regular first-team football elsewhere and he is already attracting interest from England and abroad.
His agent Olafur Gardarsson told Skysports: "We will see if we can find a move for Brynjar in January.
"He is used to playing regularly, but has only played in half the games this season.
"When a new manager comes in he has new ideas and Brynjar understands this.
"There is interest in Brynjar from England and Scandinavia, but he would prefer to stay in England and we will see what happens in January."
Gunnarsson signed from Watford in 2005 and has made 121 appearances for Reading in all competitions, scoring 10 goals.
Fellow Icelander and Royals skipper Ivar Ingimarsson has also raised doubts about his future after rejecting a new 12 month contract.
The 32-year-old defender - who will become a free agent in the summer - wants a longer deal.
Staying with Iceland, striker Gunnar Thorvaldsson teamed up with the Royals again this week and is poised to join on loan in January, with a view to a permanent move next summer.
It is the 27-year-old's second spell with Reading having impressed on trial last month when he scored twice in a reserves game against Bristol Rovers.
Royals are in talks with Danish Superliga club Esbjerg about a transfer fee for the forward who once had a spell with German outfit Hannover 96.
