Harte scores for Reading in Portugal

IAN Harte netted a sensational free-kick as Reading drew their opening friendly in Portugal.
The 34-year-old veteran full-back struck with a trademark effort to put Royals ahead against CDR Quarteirense on Saturday night.
Reading had chances to extend their lead but Jason Roberts hit the post and Noel Hunt saw an effort cleared off the line.
Brian McDermott's visitors were made to rue those misses when the home side made it 1-1 with a late equaliser.
Royals, who were watched by new Russian owner, Anton Zingarevich, are due to face newly-promoted Championship side Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.
