READING FC boss Jaap Stam has made four changes to the side which was crushed at the hands of Norwich City FC last week.
Joseph Mendes, Adrian Popa and Danny Williams all come in to the starting line-up today to face Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Fans had mixed responses after the teams were announced shortly after 2pm today.
If Mendes and Grabban both score, I'll...I'll...I actually can't think of anything ridiculous to justify them scoring. #readingfc https://t.co/McYKcrCMJw

I hope Jaap knows what he's doing π dropping McCleary and Kermorgant is a massive call in such a massive game #readingfc

Can only think Stam has more than one eye on Monday to make sure we win that one, hope it pays off #readingfc

Stam was furious after watching his side crumble at Carrow Road last Saturday, resulting in a 7-1 victory to the hosts.
In-form striker Yann Kermorgant and winger Garath McCleary make the substitute bench for todayβs trip to in-form Aston Villa, who have top-scorer Jonathan Kodjia leading the line.
French forward Mendes makes his first start for the Royals since joining from Le Havre last summer, but Stam recently insisted the striker has a future in Berkshire.
Reading FC: Al-Habsi, Gunter (c), Moore, Blackett, Obita, Swift, Williams, Kelly, Popa, Mendes, Grabban.
Reading FC subs: Jaakkola, Evans, McCleary, Kermorgant, Meite, Ilori, Mutch.
Kick-off is at 3pm.
