JOSH Patrick produced a personal best in the 60m sprint in the last in the series of the Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow Winter Indoor Open Meetings at the Thames Valley Athletics Centre on Sunday.

Patrick, who dipped under the seven second barrier for the first time to clock 6.98 seconds, was the fastest under-20 athlete.

Michael Lee was back on the track and he clocked 7.25, just ahead of 400m specialist Adam Medcraft on 7.26 and Jamie East on 7.30. Best of the WSEH senior men was Matt George with 7.50.

Glen Reddington was the best of the vets on display topping the vet-45 age group with his 7.87. Georgie Lamothe was by far the fastest of the under-17 ladies, winning her race in 7.85, and this feat was repeated by Georgie Haynes in the under-15 age group with 8.20 and George Butler in the under-13 boys with a PB of 8.30.

Pascale Waterson was the third best of the under-17 ladies with 8.30, and Steph Clitheroe was the next best in the under-15 category with her time of 8.39, with Olivia Caesar not far adrift on 8.40.

There were more good results in the under-13 girls age group with Zoe Toudup the best in 8.80, Josslyn Stotter clocked 9.16 and Alex Hollenbeck on 9.20.

The best of the WSEH 60m hurdlers was East, second in the under-20 age group in 8.30. Matt George was the third fastest of the senior men present, clocking 8.60. Cameron MacRoberts was the best of the under-17s with 9.50.

Steph Clitheroe was the top ranked under-15 girl in 9.50 and Hope White the best of the under-13 girls with her 12.00. It was a one, two, three in the under-17 ladies with Sarah Phelps winning in 9.90, Charlotte Banks 10.00 and Harriet Hillson on 10.50.

The WSEH successes continued in the field events starting with four winners in the long jump. George was the best of the senior men with 6.02m, Shakira Whight led the senior ladies with 5.65m, Georgie Haynes the under-15 girls on 4.71 and George Butler the under-13 boys with 4.79m.

Alison MacLeod won the triple jump. The busy George was the best of the WSEH male shot putters with his second place. Amongst the girls Ellie Norris was fourth in the under-15 category with 8.20m, with Tara Barrett on 7.81m. Best of the WSEH under-13 girls was Josslyn Stotter in second place with 8.06m and Chelsea Crowe with 6.40m.
