WINDSOR, Slough, Eton & Hounslow Athletic Club contested the second of the Apex Sports Chiltern Cross Country League series at RAF Halton on Saturday.
The WSEH best team performances came in the under-13 boys and under-17/20 ladies events where they both finished in second place, the boys still maintaining their place at the top of the division.
The under-13s faced a tough task but a second place from Kieran Wye, a sixth for Jack Rowe and good runs from Greg Baynham and Giles Robinson showed what strength in depth the club has.
The under-17/20 ladies achieved another fine set of results, with Bex Myers finishing in fourth place overall but being the first Under 17 home.
In addition to the runs by Wye and Myers, the other top WSEH individual performances were from Kathryn Ditton (under-11 girls) and Kegan Lymn (under-15 boys) who won their events in fine style.
WSEH were seventh in the overall match result with 1751 points behind winners Bedford & County AC on 2911 pts.
