There were a number of notable performances in the under-13 girls section, including Steph Clitheroe achieving a new PB of 11.5 seconds in the 70m hurdles and a second place in the 75m. Fellow sprinter, Olivia Caesar, equally impressed with a first in the 75m and a third in the 150m, while Maddi Paris-Matic, also hit gold in the 150m with 21.6.
In the under-15 girls, Karimah Muhammad came first in the 100m, Cressida Millar achieved second in her race in 13.7 and then grabbed a third in the 200m as well.
In the under-17 ladies section, team captain Laura James achieved a second in the hammer and then first in the discus. She then covered in the javelin, achieving a PB of 17.20m.
Les Phelps, Alder Valley Girls team manager, commented: "May I take this opportunity to say thanks to all the young athletes, their parents and others that have contributed in any way to the smooth running of the Alder Valley Girls Team this year.
"To the second year under-17s, thanks for your contributions, sometimes your pain but mostly your enthusiasm over the last year. I will look forward in following your successes in the U20's next year."
