BRACKNELL Town have been handed a reprieve by the footballing authorities and retained their place in the Southern League for next season.
After a disappointing campaign, the Robins finished second from bottom in Division One (South & West) - a relegation spot which apparently condemned them to life in the lower reaches of the football pyramid in 2009/10.
But the FA announced on Friday, that due to league restructuring caused by the effect of the recession on several clubs, Bracknell would retain their place in the Southern League for next season.
