WOKINGHAM & Emmbrook Reserves collected their first Premier Division win of the season with a fine 2-1 success at Newbury on Saturday, writes Richard Ashton.

Matt Booth and Toby Morgan were on the scoresheet for Sumas, while Carl Jenner netted for Newbury.

Wokingham & Emmbrook had previously lost 5-1 at Marlow United last Wednesday, Charlie Scope grabbing the consolation in reply to doubles from Andrew Nicol and Ollie Flint, as well as a Qwamani Thomas strike.

Flint, twice, and Nicol were also goalscorers as Marlow made it three wins from three with a 6-3 success at home to Westwood United on Saturday.

Liam Bushay also bagged a brace with the other goal coming from Surdariu Catalin. Matt Badger and Tom Bullion were among the Westwood goalscorers.

A Ryan Adams quadruple helped Reading YMCA thump Mortimer 7-1, Kaser Chowdhary, Ashley Searle and substitute Dan Donegan getting the others while James Croft netted for the hosts.

Searle struck a hat-trick and Matt Drake added the other as Reading YMCA won 4-0 at Newbury last Wednesday.

Jake Dillon and Adam Cashin-Murray both struck hat-tricks as Woodcote Stoke Row walloped Taplow 9-0, the other goals coming from Malvin Kachingwe, Andy Bullett and Sam Green.

WSR had previously beaten Highmoor Ibis United 3-0 thanks to Bullett, Frank Dillon and Michael Davies.

Cookham Dean have a perfect record following 4-1 and 5-2 wins against Berks County and Wraysbury Village respectfully.

Paul Reed, Josh Waldron, John Schaaf and Christian Hayward netted against County – for whom Dave Amey bagged the consolation – with Waldrom also on target against Wraysbury. Kai Murphy-Douglas grabbed a hat-trick and Dan Adams rounded off the scoring, Mike Wilso snaring both for Wraysbury.

Courtney Lawrence hit the net four times to lead Highmoor Ibis United to a 6-1 demolition of Woodley United Royals, Jamal Forde-Small and Lemar Maycock adding the others as Ben Anderson got the consolation.

Wright & Unity Sports picked up six points with 4-0 and 3-1 victories at Wraysbury Village and Taplow United.

James Whittingham and Croft netted for Mortimer in their 2-2 draw at home to Westwood United, with Callum McCulloch and Nikos Chrysikopoulos getting the goals for their opponents.
