DAN Roberts scored a hat-trick, all with free-kicks, as Bracknell Town Under 21s hammered Eversley & California Reserves 5-0.

A crowd of more than 100 were at Larges Lane on Saturday for this mid-table clash in the Central Division of the Suburban League.

Connor Thorndike and Dan Money were also on target for the Robins.

Having defeated Premier Division side Knaphill in the previous round, Bracknell have been drawn at home to Horley of the South Division in the third round of the Suburban League Cup.

The tie is scheduled for February 4.

Bracknell’s senior side, without a game last weekend, were knocked off the top of the Hellenic League when Flackwell Heath defeated bottom club Burnham 4-0.

Robins trail the Heathens by one point having played three fewer games.

The top two were scheduled to meet at Wilks Park last night in the semi-finals of the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy.

Rhys Summers earlier bagged a consolation for the visitors to make it 4-1 midway through the second half.
