BRACKNELL Cavaliers go into the festive break in top spot in the Premier Division thanks to a 1-0 win at FC Meta, writes Nick Carpenter.

The division’s top two sides struggled to shine in difficult playing conditions.

But an excellent strike from Cavs’ right-back Scott Graham from the edge of the box late in the first half gave Meta keeper Byron Duncan no chance.

Cavaliers edged the first half, but Meta were dominant in the second and applied a lot of pressure particularly towards the end.

But they failed to find an equaliser as Cavs hels on for the points.
