JORDAN Sawyer scored four times as second-placed South Reading preserved their unbeaten start to the Division Two season with a thumping 7-3 victory at home to Berks County Reserves.

Hayden Best, Liam Lewendon and replacement Sam Jordan got the other goals for the hosts, who have won five and drawn two games so far.

Harchester Hawks hammered Marlow United Reserves 5-0, while Tyrese Corbin-Chandler, Prince Massaquoi and Phil John netted for Wright & Unity Sports as they climbed to third in the Premier Division following a 3-1 home win against Taplow United, Alex Seymore grabbing a consolation for the visitors.

Nathan Lishman, Ryan Adams and Lorenzo Medford all bagged braces as Reading YMCA made it eight wins from eight with a 7-0 destruction of Wokingham & Emmbrook Reserves, Jamie Piercy completing the scoring.

Daniel Langford banged in a hat-trick and Russell Benham and Grant Kemp scored twice as Newbury smashed Highmoor Ibis United 10-1. Luke Gray, Terry Patton and Evan Bailes rounded off the rout for the hosts.

Jake Fuller grabbed an injury-time winner as Mortimer edged out Wraysbury Village 3-2, James Suarez and James Croft the other home goalscorers. Mike Wilson and Kyle Dyett were on target for Wraysbury.

In Division One, Greg Sinclair scored for Hurst in their 3-1 defeat at Eldon Celtic, while Jamie Handscombe and Richard Jones were among the Cookham Dean Reserves’ goalscorers as they won a five-goal classic 3-2 against Westwood United Reserves.

Division Three table-toppers Wargrave crushed Taplow United Reserves 7-2, Seamus Stapleton getting both of the goals for the beaten side.

Peter Jones remarkably scored all five goals as Hurst A smashed Highmoor Ibis Athletic 5-0, while James Gregory got the only goal as Braybrooke squeezed past Woodley United A 1-0.

Dean Rubidge netted for Farnham Royal Mavericks, but they slipped to a 3-1 home defeat against Division Four leaders Taplow United A.

Sam Evans, Jamie Romaine and Tom Osborne scored to help Maidenhead Town A win 4-2 at Berks County Rovers – the other strike an own goal – while AFC Corinthians A triumphed 2-1 at Goring United Reserves.

FC Woodley advanced in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup with a resounding 7-0 success at FC Leisure, while Scott Cooper bagged a brace as Maidenhead Town Reserves knocked out Brimpton Athletic 3-0, Steve Newell also on target.

Ian Henry scored twice and Robert Smith and Lawrence Henry were also on target as Maidenhead Magpies won 4-3 at Hazlemere Sports, while Binfield Reserves knocked Finchampstead out 2-0.

Goals from Mark Kirwan and Tom Richards were not enough for Burghfield as they lost 3-2 at Shrivenham A.

Christian Hayward, Paul Sharpe and Scott Jackson got the goals as defending Berkshire Trophy Centre Senior Cup champions Cookham Dean progressed with a hard-fought 3-2 victory at Westwood United.

Ollie Flint scored twice and Liam Bushay, Qwamani Thomas, Surdariu Catalin were also on target – along with an own goal – as Marlow United smashed Maidenhead Town 6-0, and an Isaac Sedu double was enough for FC Imaan Lions in their 2-0 victory at Richings Park.

Negus Williams-McCabe, Mike Butcher and Paddy Gardner were on target for Woodcote Stoke Row, but they exited the Oxfordshire Senior Cup with a disappointing 8-3 reverse at Hellenic League Premier Division side Oxford City Nomads.

In the Intermediate Cup, Rotherfield United were eliminated 3-1 on penalties following a 4-4 home draw against Watlington Town, and Woodcote Stoke Row Reserves went out after a 6-0 battering at Clanfield Development.
